A tanker sustained serious damage in a collision with a semi-truck on northbound I-25 in the Wellington area on Wednesday. It could have been even worse. "A spark caused a small brush fire in the center median," the state patrol said. "The fire was quickly extinguished by troopers and fire personnel, with no vehicles being on fire."
The tanker was hauling a hazardous liquid. No injuries were reported. "Both directions of Interstate 25 were briefly closed due to the crash," the patrol said. [Photo: Wellington Fire]
