TEEN INJURED BY HIT-AND-RUN DRIVER IN LITTLETON

The Colorado State Patrol is seeking information on a hit-and-run crash that injured a teenager riding a bicycle in the vicinity of South Pierce Court and West Portland Avenue in Littleton.

"The driver of the vehicle involved stopped briefly to check on the juvenile before fleeing the scene without leaving their information," the patrol said. 

"Witnesses say the vehicle involved was a later-model, large, dark-colored SUV, and the driver was described as a Hispanic female with dark, wavy hair, possibly in her 40s, wearing a purple shirt, and a Hispanic teenage passenger with dark hair," the patrol said.

The accident occurred Sunday at about 3:45 p.m.
