A teen driver died in a crash Wednesday on eastbound I-70 in Arapahoe County, the state patrol said.
The initial investigation indicates the youth was traveling at a high rate of speed, attempted to exit onto Highway 36 at Byers and struck a guardrail.
"The juvenile was wearing a seatbelt but was ejected from the vehicle," the patrol said.
A state trooper and county deputy attempted to revive the victim with CPR however he was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no passengers in the Acura sedan.
