48 YEARS IN PRISON FOR "JOJO" KILLER

Diego Lopez was sentenced Friday to 48 years in state prison for the savage murder of Josiaz “Jojo” Aragon, 14, the Denver DA said. Police found graphic videos linking Lopez to the killing, which occurred in broad daylight near a baseball diamond at the Southwest Recreation Center at 9200 West Saratoga Place on Aug. 8, 2022.
Lopez, who was 16 at the time of the slaying, beat and shot the younger boy while in the process of buying a buying a weapon from him.
