UPDATE
South Metro and Denver firefighters battled brush fires that extended to a commercial building in the vicinity of Parker Road and Mississippi Avenue, fire officials said. Monday's outdoor blaze spread to the attic and decking at 1181 Parker Road. The incident is under investigation.
