CAUGHT WET-HANDED: COPS CHASE STOLEN TRUCK INTO CAR WASH

A police chase from Aurora into Denver ended when four career crooks in a stolen pickup truck sped through a car wash.
"All four ran. All four were caught," the Aurora Police Department reported. "These suspects are no strangers to APD – they've been arrested by us before for crimes like robbery, assault, kidnapping, sex offenses, drugs, prostitution, and car theft." A police body cam showed a patrol car pursing the white pickup into the spray of the Shell service station car wash.

Wednesday's chase - which lasted just a few minutes - began near Alameda Avenue and Havana Street in Aurora and ended near Hampden Avenue and Poplar Street in Denver, police said. [Photo: Aurora Police Department]
