DOG HITS FIRE EXIT

 

An alert canine bolted from a burning home Tuesday.

"Quick work by firefighters kept the fire contained to the garage," West Metro Fire Rescue said. "One of the family’s dogs was missing for a short time but had left the house and was found by a neighbor." The blaze occurred at West 43rd Avenue and Reed Street in Wheat Ridge, West Metro said.
