Colorado Task Force 1 returned home Sunday after three weeks of searching for victims of deadly flooding that swept Kerr County, Texas.
The urban search-and-rescue unit consists of firefighters from 16 Front Range fire and rescue agencies. Task Force 1 has a storied history, including a response to the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City. Other states field similar units.
