JURY: HE'S GUILTY IN MA KAING MURDER

The verdict took less than a day. 

A jury convicted Pa Reh of first-degree murder in the slaying of Denver community activist and mother-of-four Ma Kaing, who was struck by stray bullet unloading groceries, the DA's office said Tuesday. Reh was engaged in a gunfight when the killing occurred outside Denver's Hidden Brook Apartments in the 1300-block of North Xenia Street, near Aurora, on July 15, 2022.

Police arrested four men in the horrifying case. The others were convicted in separate trials. The deadly hail of bullet was said to be tied to gang warfare.
