The Denver Zoo's first baby African pancake tortoise hatched a few weeks ago. Her mom is named Waffles. Her neighbors are named Short-Stack, Denny and Flapjack. Baby's name to be announced. The species is native to Tanzania, Kenya and northern Zambia. [Photo: Denver Zoo]
