Pictured here is Michel Jordan Castellano-Fonseca, 30, a suspect in the slaying of a young woman in Aurora early Sunday - and police warn he's armed and dangerous.
He fled in a green Acura MDX SUV with Colorado license plate CVO668. The shooting occurred shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday at an apartment in the 1000-block of Cimarron Circle. Castellano-Fonseca forced his way into the unit - occupied by two adults and five children, ages 1 to 15 - firing several shots. "One of the victims, a 26-year-old woman, sustained fatal wounds and died at the scene," Aurora police said. "A second victim, a 30-year-old woman, was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries." None of the children were injured. Police said a preliminary investigation by the homicide squad tied the shooting to an earlier domestic violence incident. Castellano-Fonseca allegedly threatened to return to the apartment with a gun. If you have information, call 911 or call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at (720) 913- 7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
