ARREST SUSPECT IN FATAL HIT & RUN THAT KILLED WOMAN IN WHEELCHAIR

Aurora police charged a suspect in Sunday's hit-and-run tragedy that killed a woman in a wheelchair at East Colfax Avenue and I-225. They identified the suspect as Johandry De Los Santos Ruiz, 27, of Venezuela. He surrendered Thursday and was booked into the Aurora Detention Center on one count of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death. The woman, who was 47, died at the scene of the accident.
