A fatal hit-and-run crash took a scooter-riding teenager's life Friday night at East Wesley Drive and South Dunkirk Street in Aurora - and police are urgently seeking video evidence. The youth, 16, was struck from behind on an electric scooter in the marked bicycle lane. "Investigators are asking residents in the area to check their doorbell and other surveillance cameras between 11:15-11:20 p.m. Friday for video of a possible suspect vehicle with a loud exhaust speeding from the scene," likely toward towards East Jewell Avenue from Dunkirk. police said. There were no witnesses.
