BODY IN RIVER

A body was discovered Thursday floating in the Platte River in Denver, the fire department said. The location - in the vicinity of 36th Street and Arkins Court - "will be treated as a crime scene," fire officials said on social media. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death, police said. The fire department's specialized water rescue unit assisted police in the recovery.
