A jail inmate released over a sheriff's objections faces new felony charges.

"I knew this would happen," Weld County Steve Reams said.

Ephraim Debisa, 21, was arrested on a warrant issued by the University of Northern Colorado police alleging unlawful possession of weapon on school grounds and trespass, officials said Thursday. "I am glad no one was hurt,” the sheriff said.
