A woman stuffed a ball python in her bag at the Reptile Room on Kipling Street in Wheat Ridge and whacked a pet shop worker trying to stop her from slithering away. "The employee saw something moving inside the red Target bag she was carrying and asked for the snake back," police said. "The suspect hit the employee, making this a robbery investigation."
