KIDNAPPED ADAMS COUNTY KIDS RESCUED IN TEXAS

Bound for the Mexican border, Magali Mejia Sanchez, 31, was arrested in Texas early Sunday - suspected of abducting her two children from Adams County, officials said. Police rescued the children.

"Mejia Sanchez was restrained from contact with the children and could only have supervised visits with them," the Adams County Sheriff's Office said.

Police in Fredericksburg, Texas, detained her and rescued the children - a boy, 13, and a girl, 11 - without incident, officials said. 

The children were abducted Saturday on Faraday Street in Adams County. Official allege the woman told a guardian she was taking the youngsters to Mexico.
