Armed with fresh satellite images, researchers suspect they pinpointed wreckage of lost aviator Amelia Earhart's aircraft, which disappeared in 1938.
They'll make an inspection tour in November, according to Perdue University. The site is in waters off tiny, uninhabited Nikumaroro Island in the Pacific Ocean.
The so-called "Taraia Object" was spotted by satellite five years ago and then determined to be visible in aerial photos dating back to the 1930s - a surprise discovery.
