TWO MURDERS IN PUEBLO; 15 ROUNDS FIRED IN FIRST, 27 ROUNDS IN SECOND

UPDATE

Guns blazed and blood flowed on the streets of Pueblo early Saturday.

Darian Cocilo, 25, was arrested on a murder charge in the shooting death of a man in the vicinity of Acero Avenue and Anasazi where 15 rounds were detected by Shot Spotter equipment at 2:24 a.m., police said.

In a second incident, police dispatchers received a Shot Spotter report for 27 rounds fired in the 1100-block of West 13th Street at 2:49 a.m. One person died and another was injured. No arrests were reported.

"The investigation thus far has determined this is a targeted incident," police said.
