Thursday marks the 89th anniversary of a fuel truck fire that claimed the life of Roy Nusbaum, 32, the first Greeley firefighter to die in the line of duty, the fire department said. Another firefighter, Carl Anderson, was injured at Eighth Avenue and 16th Street on Nov. 6, 1936.
