This is a social activist's photo of federal agents and demonstrators at an immigration center in Durango this week.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is probing the agents' actions at the request of the Drango Police Department.
“In moments like these, our duty is not only to uphold the law, but to preserve our humanity,” Durango Police Chief Brice Current said.
There were no serious injuries at Tuesday's protest.
