A brazen thief stole an SUV with two emotional support dogs inside from the Diamond Shamrock station at 70th Avenue and Federal Boulevard in Adams County.
The dogs - both Chihuahuas - are named Peanuts and Poopy. Their owners suffer from liver failure and cancer.
The Adams County Sheriff's Office said the theft of the dented white 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe - Colorado tags AFX-F62 - occurred at about 4 p.m. Sunday. If you have information, call 911 or the Adams County Sheriff's Office at (303) 288-1535. [Photos: Adams County Sheriff's Office]
