Fire struck a derelict building on Otis Street near West Colfax Avenue in Lakewood overnight, West Metro Fire said Monday - the latest such blaze in the area.
No injuries were report. Arvada Fire provided mutual aid.
A week earlier, on Jan. 4, fire broke out in a derelict building on West Colfax near Oak Street. It was spotted by a person at a bus stop who called 911.
In July, several fires struck a derelict building - over a matter of days - on Lamar Streer, also near West Colfax.
Further south, firefighters extinguished a fire in a vacant building on Mississippi Avenue near Depew Street that "was previously compromised by fire," officials said at the time. They encountered "numerous" holes in the floor at the September blaze.
