A hit-and-run pickup truck backed into a smoke shop in Commerce City - and a little while later a burglar with a cigarette dangling from his mouth climbed through the smashed entry.
The nicotine-needing thief was "probably a different criminal than the one behind the wheel of the truck," police said. The double header - all caught on surveillance video at the Darth Vapor Smoke Shop on East 62nd Avenue - occurred Jan 13. The truck had no visible license plate.
