Responding to a report of a burglary in progress, police cornered a four-legged intruder in a home on North Tejon Street in Denver.
"The resident told officers he woke up to the sound of someone walking around his home," officials said. "He then barricaded himself in the bathroom while officers investigated.
"The house checked clear - until officers heard more rustling coming from the attic. After a careful search, they discovered the 'suspect' hiding out."
The break-in occurred on Jan. 11.
