Foul play is suspected in the disappearance of Margaret Woolsey, 57, of Manitou Springs, last seen on Aug. 3 - but not reported missing until late September.
"I just feel in my gut that something is wrong," her sister, April Rossetti, told KRDO. "Her dog was left behind ... Her dog is like her child. She probably loves the dog more than anybody."
Quoted by News5, Manitou Springs Police Detective Amanda Strider said: “Everyone I’ve interviewed at this point has said she would never leave her dogs.”
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation said Woolsey - who also goes by the name of Margaret Mitchum - stands 5-foot-10, with a thin build, brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen near Bradley Road and Wageman Drive.
