Flames ripped through the 29 Mile Apartments complex in Grand Junction on Saturday, causing heavy damage.
The fire gutted Building H at 2915 Orchard Avenue.
"The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office responded along with fire resources, and deputies forcibly gained entry into the involved apartment and evacuated an adult female occupant," officials said.
No injuries were reported.
