Propane likely contributed to a blazing explosion that killed two people in eastern Pueblo County, the sheriff's office said Tuesday. Based on preliminary findings, investigators said the Jan. 8 tragedy occurred during "installation of a water heater" and "propane gas was present at the scene," officials said.
The house was located near 57th Lane and Cherry Road in the rural community of Boone.
