Governor Jared Polis assailed Congress for failing to override a presidential veto blocking funding for the Arkansas Valley Conduit - a long-delayed 130-mile pipeline to supply southeastern Colorado with drinking water. "Letting this veto stand puts politics ahead of people," Polis said Thursday.
