WINTER IN ROCKIES, SPRING IN DENVER AREA

While Denver enjoys another day of spring, forecasters issued a Winter Weather Advisory for up to inches of snow in the Park and Gore ranges - including Rabbit Ears Pass - until early Tuesday. Our photo shows conditions on Monday morning at the Eisenhower Tunnel. The National Weather Service sees lighter snowfall for the Front Range Mountains and Summit County and locally up to 8 inches in Rocky Mountain National Park and Indian Peaks.

The Denver area, meantime, is forecast to bask in sunshine and mild temperatures through Wednesday though snow is possible Thursday. [Photos: National Weather Service]
