BRAVE COPS, FIREFIGHTERS SAVE DRIVER OF SINKING AUTO

 

A drone view shows Colorado Springs police officers and firefighters plunging into Prospect Lake to save the driver of a sinking auto - in what city officials called an "extraordinary display of teamwork and courage." The driver was in critical condition. Two firefighters and two officers were treated at hospital for hypothermia and minor injuries after Thursday's incident. Rescuers "continued searching the submerged car after reports that a child might also be inside," the fire department said. "Their coordination, trust, and willingness to risk everything for others are unmatched," the department said.
