A kitchen fire caused "significant damage" Wednesday night to a home in the 400-block of South Lima Circle in Aurora, officials said.
Two adults and two children were displaced. No injuries were reported.
However, a firefighter was struck by attic insulation while extinguishing the flames.
Officials said: "Firefighters initiated an aggressive interior search and fire attack, quickly locating a working kitchen fire with extension to the attic space.
