A motorcyclist was seriously injured Tuesday in a collision with an SUV at South College Avenue and West Lake Street in Fort Collins, police said.
The SUV driver and 2 children riding as passengers weren't hurt.
"To this point, the investigation has revealed that the motorcycle, a 2021 Yamaha was traveling southbound on College Avenue when a 2013 Cadillac Escalade, which was going northbound on College Avenue, made a left-hand-turn to go west on West Lake Street when the collision occurred," police said.
"The collision and exact circumstances that led up to it are still under investigation," police said, adding they are "also investigating if alcohol was a factor in this collision."
