TEST FINDS METH IN TRUCKER KILLED IN DENVER CRASH

A toxicology test found traces of methamphetamine and alcohol in the body of a trucker killed in a Thanksgiving Day crash, CBS News Colorado reports.

Rickey Swaniger, 56, of Sterling, died of blunt force trauma when his gasoline tanker smashed into an abutment at I-25 and East Yale Avenue in Denver, causing a huge fuel spill at the busy intersection.

Swaniger's liver showed a methamphetamine level of 110 nanograms per gram and an alcohol level of 120 milligrams per 100 grams, CBS News Colorado said.

No one else was hurt in the wreck.
