FEDS JOIN PROBE INTO AUTO FIRE AT TRAILHEAD IN SUMMIT COUNTY

UPDATE Federal agents joined the investigation into an auto fire Friday at Upper Straight Creek Trailhead in Dillon Valley. The Summit County Sheriff’s Office, Summit Fire & EMS and Red, White and Blue Fire Protection Districts responded to the suspicious blaze reported at about 7 a.m. "Two ATF Special Agent Certified Fire Investigators and one Special Agent Certified Explosive Specialist will be on scene providing assistance to the investigation," ATF said. No other information was released.
