POLICE SEEK JEEP IN SCOOTER HIT & RUN IN BOULDER


Police are seeking the driver of a jeep that struck a scooter passenger early Friday at Broadway and 17th Street in Boulder.

Police said: "A 22-year-old man was operating a Lime scooter on the west sidewalk of Broadway when his 21-year-old male passenger lost his balance and fell off the scooter. When he fell, he stumbled into Broadway where he was struck by a vehicle."
The scooter operator was charged with driving under the influence.
The Jeep is registered to an address in Boulder. It is believed to have a "Raise hell and hug trees" sticker, police said. If you have information, contact Officer S. Coon CoonS@bouldercolorado.gov or 720-626-9749 regarding case 26-1870.
