UPDATE
An explosion and fire ripped through a service station Thursday in Denver, injuring two people, the fire department said.
The blast and flames gutted the Shell station at 6th Avenue and Bryant Street. The cause was under investigation. The fuel pumps didn't appear to be involved.
"Two people inside the building were transported to the hospital with blast and burn injuries," officials said.
A witness told Fox 31: "The whole side of the building just exploded and went out into the street, and then the flames started."
