HUNT FOR SOUTHERN COLORADO MURDER SUSPECT

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation and local authorities are searching for a suspect in a murder in southern Colorado.

Fernando Rodriguez, 44, of Alamosa, is believed to be driving a green 1995 Subaru Station Wagon with Colorado license plate AXO-F61, officials said.

The public is advised not to approach the suspect.

The killing occurred Monday at a home in the 3000-block of Lincoln Avenue in Alamosa County, officials said. The victim, a man, was 49.

Deputies interviewed a woman who called 911.
