A medical helicopter made an emergency landing early Tuesday in Silver Cliff in south central Colorado, officials said. The crew of three was safe. There was no patient aboard. A Custer County deputy "transported the three helicopter crew members to a hotel in Westcliffe, where they stayed overnight," the sheriff's office said. "A mechanic was dispatched to the area to repair the helicopter.
