MEDICAL HELICOPTER MAKES EMERGENCY LANDING IN SILVER CLIFF

A medical helicopter made an emergency landing early Tuesday in Silver Cliff in south central Colorado, officials said. The crew of three was safe. There was no patient aboard. A Custer County deputy "transported the three helicopter crew members to a hotel in Westcliffe, where they stayed overnight," the sheriff's office said. "A mechanic was dispatched to the area to repair the helicopter. The sheriff’s office also said it is "grateful this incident resulted in no injuries, and we appreciate the cooperation of all involved as the helicopter is returned to service." [Map: Wikipedia]
