Deputies arrested a nurse accused of supplying synthetic drugs to a prisoner at the Adams County Detention Facility, officials said Thursday. The sheriff's office identified the nurse as Stephanie Bagwell, 52. She was arrested Tuesday. The case involves "Spice" - synthetic cannabinoid-soaked paper. "Bagwell was working at the detention facility as a temporary nurse through a contract medical provider," officials said. "She no longer has access to the secured areas of the Detention Facility. "Detectives also identified additional suspects during the course of the investigation, including the inmate involved," officials said. However, their names weren't released by the sheriff's office.
