WINDOW-SMASHING COP HELPS MOM, BABY AFTER KEY SNAFU

A window-smashing police officer sped to the aid of a terrified new mother who accidentally locked her keys and baby inside a pickup truck in Commerce City.

Filled with fear she immediately called 911 and the officer "raced to the scene and knew he didn't have time to waste" - as the outside temperature was a scorching 80 degrees, police said.
"He carefully shattered a passenger side window, unlocked the truck, and got to the infant before the heat did," police said. "Thankfully baby was fine," police said. "Mom, however, will take a little longer to recover from that scare."
