Daniel Villegas, 19, was arrested as a suspect in the shooting death of another teen in Denver, police announced Monday night.
The killing occurred in the 10100-block of East Virginia Avenue at about 12:35 p.m. on April 2 and the suspect was arrested Saturday with the assistance of Aurora police.
The teens were acquainted and the shooting apparently stemmed from a disagreement over money, police said.
Detectives used surveillance cameras and a license plate reading system to track down the suspect, who traveled to Aurora after the shooting. He faces a charge of first-degree murder.
