Irma Palmer, of Aurora, recently turned 109. “I thought I was too darn ornery to ever get that old,” she told Tox 31. Pamer arrived in Colorado when her husband was transferred to Lowry Air Force Base. They raised five children. Palmer was born in Alabama.
