Triple-killer Ricky Roybal-Smith pleaded guilty Thursday to second-degree murder in the strangling of his cellmate at the Denver Jail, the DA's Office said.
Vincent Chacon, 34, died on June 30 - hours after Roybal-Smith killed two men along East Colfax Avenue in Aurora. He already pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in those slayings.
Roybal-Smith, 38, was being held in Denver on a drunken charge when he strangled Chacon.
He will serve concurrent terms of 56 years in the Denver Jail murder and 80 years in the East Colfax killings.
