WESTMINSTER COPS SAY NO LICENSE PLATE YIELDS LOTS OF DOPE, THREE ARRESTS

A police officer stopped an auto with no license tags, discovered a stash of drugs and arrested three suspects in Westminster.
"The officer immediately saw drug paraphernalia inside and smelt what appeared to be an odor of burned fentanyl," officials said. "Further investigation revealed lots of drugs inside the vehicle including more than 290 grams of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl pills, electronics, money and drug paraphernalia," they said.
Police took two men and a woman into custody. The incident occurred near 123rd Avenue and Huron Street early Thursday, police said.
