The killer of Haleh Abghari, a professor at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, was sentenced Wednesday to 224 years in prison, prosecutors said. Ceasar Wilson, 54, stabbed Abghari during a burglary at her home in August 2024. The killer entered the dwelling through an open garage door and stole her car. Wilson, who has a criminal record dating back more than three decades, was convicted by an El Paso County jury in February. He was arrested seven months after the murder living under an alias.
