Firefighters from Genoa and Hugo stopped a raging building blaze from engulfing an adjacent barn in eastern Colorado on Wednesday.
"Upon arrival, Lincoln County deputies advised that an outbuilding was fully engulfed, with the fire spreading to a nearby barn," Genoa Fire said. "Crews were able to contain the fire before it spread further."
No injuries were reported. "We are thankful for the mutual aid assistance and the teamwork between responding agencies," Genoa Fire said. Limon Fire also responded.
