A life-sized bronze statue cut from its base at Greeley's Glenmere Park was recovered at a scrap yard, police said Sunday.
The Prize Catch was cut at the ankles Tuesday and sold to the yard later that day.
"Detectives have since recovered the artwork and returned it to the Parks Department," police said. "While the statue is home, the investigation is ongoing."
