TEEN ARRESTED IN SHOOTING THAT INJURED WOMAN, 86, IN COMMERCE CITY

Jeremiah Tyrae Herrera, 19, was arrested as a suspect in a shooting that critically injured an 86-year-old woman caught in crossfire in Commerce City, police said Tuesday. The woman was sitting in a car at 60th Avenue and Monaco Street on Monday afternoon and is expected to survive. Herrera, who was located after a search of the neighborhood, "is accused of firing shots at two individuals across the street and inadvertently striking the victim," police said.
