Jason Rood, 54, a transient, has been arrested as a suspect in a burglary spree near Carter Lake in Larimer County, the sheriff's office announced Friday.
Rood faces 18 charges in the string of crimes between April 20 and April 24.
"Using drone technology, deputies found the suspect at a remote campsite on April 25," the sheriff's office said.
Undersheriff Joe Shellhammer said: “Our deputies and reserves spent days looking for this suspect. Thanks to their search efforts and great use of technology, residents can rest easier."
